The Lions Club of Mackay Northern Beaches raises funds that go directly to assist a variety of projects within the local community. The club helps locally with projects for the homeless and health needs amongst other things. Volunteering at Lions makes a real difference in your local community and you can help to change people’s lives. It’s a great way to meet people, make new friends and get involved. This club meets monthly on the first Sunday of the month at Mackay Northern Beaches Bowls Club. Meetings are usually at 11am with lunch afterwards for those who wish to stay for fellowship. The club welcomes new members at any time, so if you have some time, consider joining Lions and helping out.
