The Longreach Memorial Pool and Aquatic Centre is a fun place to cool off and get some exercise. There's a 50 metre outdoor pool for lap swimming. Swimming can increase your heart health and body strength. There's also a 25 metre heated pool for a more light paced activities. You can try lane walking and aqua aerobics classes. They are both great exercises for older people as they're low-impact but strength building.
