If you love animals and have some spare time, volunteer to help at an animal hospital. It’s a wonderful way to help homeless animals and work with a team of passionate people. There is always so much to do so you will keep busy, and you’ll stay active. Adoption Centre volunteers care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets, and rabbits. You’ll help staff to keep the animal enclosures clean, the animals fed and watered and, most importantly, provide the animals with enrichment and socialisation. You can help in the laundry washing, drying, and folding clean towels and blankets, or you can work in admin. You just need to commit to a four-hour shift either once a week or once a fortnight, for at least 12 months. It's a wonderful way to give back to your community and meet like-minded people.
