The Macedonian Welfare Association helps you to keep active and connect with your culture. There are five Aged Day Care centres that cater for the people from Macedonian background living in Illawarra region. Join one of the social groups for morning tea and coffee and lunch prepared in Macedonian tradition. You can join a great range of activities to have fun. You can play cards, trouble game, dominos, chess, and other games. There’s colouring, cutting and pasting, knitting, tapestries, hand crafts, and making decorations. You can also join information sessions with guest speakers. It’s a great way to meet and socialise with people from Macedonia in the region. There are also get together meetings with Macedonian groups from other cities in NSW. Plus, there are picnics and visits to various tourist attractions and festivals.
