For something different and a great way to keep fit, try African Drum and Dance. It’s a wonderful way to stay active, learn new things, and meet other people in the area to socialise. Join the group on the fourth Saturday of the month for drumming at 3pm and dance at 4pm. Try tai chi for a low-impact, relaxing exercise that’s ideal for older people. It’s a great way to improve your fitness and wellbeing with a series of gentle, controlled movements to help you stay flexible. Join the tai chi group on Thursdays at 10am. Or enjoy a good stretch and relaxation at yoga and mindfulness classes on Tuesdays and Sundays at 9.30am. Yoga helps to improve your flexibility, strength, movement, and balance.
