Get active in the community and help enhance the lives of people in the area by volunteering with Legacy. Join the thousands of dedicated volunteers and members who regularly visit or call people who need support, ensuring they always have someone to lean on. This extends from help with house maintenance through to regular visits and phone calls. You can also join other members for social events from monthly morning teas to group social outings and annual celebrations. Mackay Legacy has an active membership of 14 legatees and cares for 180 widows. Their meetings are held on the second Friday of each month, starting 9am. Contact them to become part of a social and caring community. It’s a great way to meet people and make friends locally.
