The club is part of the national Surf Lifesaving movement and is run by volunteer members for the benefit of the community. The club provides a safe bathing environment at Mackay’s Harbour Beach and offers a range of facilities, activities, and programs for members. You don’t need to be a champion swimmer to join the club and the programs and activities are for a diverse range of ages, abilities, and interests. Mackay SLSC has a reputation for being one of the friendliest clubs in Queensland. It’s a great place to meet the local community, get involved, and socialise.
