Mackay Veterans Support Group

Serving and former members of the Australian, Commonwealth, and Allied Defence Forces can join this active group. It’s a great way to get involved with other veterans, meet people, and stay active. You can use the equipped work shed if you enjoy using your hands to work on projects but don’t have room in your garage. You can join activities such as the Wednesday morning maintenance day. There is gardening, mowing and cleaning to help out with. You can also do your own thing in the workshop such as woodwork, welding, and repairs. Join one of the Thursday morning meetings for a social get together and the monthly meeting on the last Thursday of the month with a barbeque afterwards to socialise.
