The Mackay Writers Group hosts writers' weekends and takes part in festivals and other events. You can join the regular workshops with guest authors. The group has performed at poetry events and various venues. Monthly meetings include a workshop with a new topic discussed each time. This is followed by discussion about books and authors. It's a great way to expand your literary knowledge, make new friends, and connect with like-minded people in your area.
