Marine Rescue NSW

Marine Rescue NSW
Volunteer with Marine Rescue NSW and help save lives on the water. There are 46 units along the coastline from Point Danger in the north to Eden in the south, inland on the Alpine Lakes and Murray River, and Lord Howe Island. You’ll meet new people, learn new skills, serve your community, and save lives. Volunteers come from all walks of life and there’s a job for almost everyone at their local unit. You could monitor and maintain radio communications or crew an offshore search and rescue vessel. Or you can provide fundraising, administrative, or other support. You will be a member of the NSW State Emergency Response Team. Seniors are welcome to volunteer and you can work on a flexible, as-needed basis. You’ll meet friendly people and enjoy the camaraderie and social activities. Complete the online form or expression of interest to apply. Contact your local unit or Sydney Headquarters via the details provided to find out more.
