Nutcote is the historic harbourside home of May Gibbs, Australia’s foremost children’s author and illustrator. If you’re interested in May Gibbs and her life and work, volunteer at the house. You will help preserve an important part of Australia’s rich cultural heritage. Volunteers help with the house museum, as tour guides, in the shop and cafe, tasks behind the scenes, and maintaining the gardens. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community, enrich your life, and make friends.
