Merana Aboriginal Community Hawkesbury

Merana is a social support service for older First Nations People, offering exercise activities, transport, and social outings. You can keep fit and stay active whilst having a yarn in the walk talk and stretch group. It’s aimed at First Nations People aged over 50 but everyone is welcome. You can join the group on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm or Thursday mornings from 10am to 11am. There’s also a boxing class on Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm to get your heart pumping and stay strong. There’s a Women’s Group on Sunday afternoons with afternoon tea. It’s a great way to meet other First Nations women for a yarn and to share stories. Or for men, there’s the Merana Riverstone Aboriginal Men’s Group at the Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre on Monday evenings.
