Mercy Works NSW

Mercy Works supports refugees and First Nations people around Australia and makes a lasting impact on their lives. If you’re based in NSW, Victoria, or WA and have previous experience in education, try volunteering for Mercy Connect. Each volunteer works with a person or small group of refugee students in a school. You will provide literacy and numeracy support, interpreting, and assignments. You'll help students to understand Australian culture and systems. You'll be under teacher guidance and direction. You’ll meet new people, share ideas, and receive ongoing support. It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved in the community.
