Join the local community networking opportunities to stay active and meet other First Nations locals. You can go along to the Yarning Circle and Murri Network meetings. The Yarning Circle is a place for you to introduce, share and support ideas to improve well-being of the local First Nations community. There is also a range of events and activities for First Nations residents of Moreton Bay Council to enjoy. You can drop in for a chat with local First Nations residents and Elders at the Weaving on Yarun on Bribie Island. You’ll learn about and work on basket weaving projects and connect to culture. Or you can join the Weaving and Yarning Circle at Deception Bay. It’s a great way to connect to each other, connect to culture and make friends.
