Nature Conservation Society SA
If you have some time to give and care about conserving your environment, join the volunteer team at the Nature Conservation Society. You’ll be helping to conserve South Australia’s wildlife and habitats. You can work in a wide range of interesting roles such as conducting bird surveys in the Mount Lofty Ranges. You may want to help with surveying vegetation for the Bushland Condition Monitoring project. Or you can assist with post-fire recovery of Kangaroo Island's threatened flora. Other roles include event and field coordination, and research. Or you can help in admin, web content, data entry, and analysis. It’s a wonderful way to stay active and busy. You’ll enjoy having a positive impact, learning new skills, and meeting like-minded people.
