Would you like to make a difference while staying connected and active? The Volunteer Tutor Scheme offers you the chance to help adults improve their English language skills. You’ll work one-on-one or in small groups, supporting learners to build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. This activity is a great way to keep your mind sharp, share your knowledge, and meet new people from diverse backgrounds. Volunteering can boost your sense of purpose and wellbeing, while improving social connections and reducing feelings of isolation. Training and ongoing support are provided, so you’ll feel prepared and valued.
