Go along to the Neporendi Centre to enjoy programs and activities for First Nations communities. There is a focus on cultural strength and community pride at the centre. It’s a safe, friendly place to meet other First Nations People for a yarn. You can join Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri language courses to learn and improve your language skills. There’s the Southern Elders advisory group to join and solve problems. You could help out at the Youth Mentoring and Wellbeing Intervention Program. Or enjoy Southern Deadly Yarns, Southern Deadly Sounds, and Southern Deadly Dancers. There is also a cultural health and wellbeing workshop. It’s a great way to connect to culture and stay active.
