Ngaruwanajirri Incorporated is an arts centre at Wurrumiyanga on Bathurst Island. Ngaruwanajirri, which means ‘helping one another’ in Tiwi, was formed in 1994. It was set up for disabled Tiwi residents but now includes all artists. The original artists work with traditional wood carvers. It's a wonderful place to connect and work on art together.
