Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art. It is a moving meditation with a series of gentle exercises. The exercises are known to create harmony between the mind and body. Tai Chi improves your strength, flexibility, and balance. It's thought to improve heart fitness, lower blood pressure, and prevent falls. It’s a great exercise for all ages and it can help if you have arthritis. Join your local friendly early morning tai chi class on Mondays at the community centre. Any age, any fitness level, and any ability is welcome.
