NCCCA offers residential and in-home aged care and palliative care services. If you have some spare time, and you want to give back to your community, you can volunteer in a diverse range of roles. You can spend time with residents taking them for walks/wheelchairs in the sun or providing companionship in their homes. You could provide transport including driving a vehicle/bus, or as an assistant for bus outings. You could help with delivering Meals on Wheels, gardening and outdoor maintenance, or making arts and crafts. Or you can run cooking demonstrations, fundraise, or phone and admin duties. There’s so much to do to keep you active and purposeful. You’ll enjoy connecting to your community and meeting new, interesting, and like-minded people.
