Olivia’s Place supports families from across Gippsland. It provides social, emotional and practical support. If you would like to give back to your community and you have some spare time, try volunteering for the organisation. You will be able to work in areas that appeal to your interests and strengths. You may be involved in the material aid program, dealing with maternity and baby-related items. You can also work with clients (after training), or in admin. Or you can work with the outdoor parent facilities team, fundraising / event roles, or assistance with grant and funding applications, to name a few roles. It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved in your community and connect with a large group of like-minded volunteers.
