If you’ve got time and skills to share, you can do a lot of good for people in need of a helping hand by volunteering. Open House needs kind, friendly volunteers to offer long-term friendship and support to young people and adults. You will provide companionship to people who are disadvantaged or may feel lonely or isolated. You can just enjoy a cuppa and a chat or share your talent in arts and crafts, sports, cooking, gardening, woodwork, bicycle maintenance, or hobbies. You’ll improve and enrich the lives of others and make a real difference in their lives. It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved and make new friends.
