Palliative Care NSW

Palliative Care NSW
Join over 1600 volunteers across NSW caring for people and their families in hospitals, at home, and in the community. Working in palliative care is one of the most rewarding choices you can make. You will offer support and companionship to people in palliative care. This helps to reduce the burden of their distress during dying, death, and bereavement. Volunteers can be retirees and can come from all places and diverse backgrounds. Most volunteer services ask for a commitment of three or four hours per week of your time. No formal qualifications are required. Life experience and compassion are beneficial. Enjoy giving back and helping others through a difficult time. Visit the Volunteer Hub website and search over 40 volunteer services across NSW to find one near you.
