Volunteer Village aims to build a network of support around Queenslanders experiencing serious illness, dying, death, and grief. If you have some spare time, join as a Volunteer Villager. It doesn’t matter your age, skill, or cultural background. All you need is a passion for helping to support Queenslanders to live, die, and grieve well. As a volunteer you can help in many areas such as general office admin support, database, packing resources etc. You could support the Ambulance Wish Queensland Program. Or you can help with events, marketing, and engagement initiatives. You can be on committees, join in policy working groups and policy panels, or undertaking research. You’ll enjoy giving back to your community, learning new things, and staying active. You’ll get a sense of reward, keep busy, and meet lots of new people.
