Visit your local Community Centre to get involved in your community and make friends. It's a place to stay active, meet people, learn new things, and connect to services. Most centres offer a regular calendar of events and activities. You can often join art or craft groups, social morning teas or lunch, and special interest groups. There are sometimes activities such as community gardens and various classes. You can often join exercise groups, dance, walking groups, get technology help, and more. You can also consider volunteering at the centre. It's a wonderful way to keep busy and involved. You will be giving back to your community, and you'll meet plenty of people.
