Queensland Wildlife Carers & Volunteers Association

If you care about native animals and have time and capacity, become a volunteer carer. You will help to rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured or orphaned animals in your area. As a carer, you will help to care for animals and release them into the wild once they are well. As the association is an unfunded charity, as a volunteer, you will need to supply all necessary food, equipment, medication, fuel etc. It's a rewarding role where you will make a direct positive impact on the environment around you. You'll stay active, have a purpose, and meet plenty of like-minded people.
