Queer as Foxtrot is an LGBTQI social group for dance lovers that meets weekly for same sex dance classes in Ballroom and Latin. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday in Fitzroy, plus regular Socials are held in Footscray throughout the year. You can then let your hair down and have a boogie. In an LGBTQI space you'll have the chance to choose between leading and following (some do both). You'll dance with both genders in Ballroom and Latin dances (and some New Vogue). You don't have to be fit and classes are for all ages, from beginner to intermediate levels. It's all on a casual basis and you can go along on your own. Feel free to drop in when it suits you as there is no need to book and class payment is cash only. Dancing is great exercise, a wonderful way to meet new people, and once you know the steps, it's great fun.
