Rag Ruggers

Rag Ruggers
Rag Ruggers is a relaxed and friendly craft group where you can make sustainable rugs from leftover fabrics. Beginners are always welcome, and teaching is provided, so you don’t need any experience to join in. All textile crafts are encouraged, including knitting, crochet, and other hand-made projects. You can simply drop by and enjoy creating something useful while having a chat with others.
Craft activities are great for keeping your hands moving and your mind active. They help improve fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration. Working with colours and textures can also boost creativity and lift your mood.
The social side of the group gives you the chance to connect with others, share ideas, and build friendships. Staying socially engaged is an important part of healthy ageing, helping support emotional wellbeing and reducing feelings of loneliness.
Rag Ruggers meets in Wanneroo every Saturday from 10am to 1pm, making it a lovely weekend activity that supports both skill-building and social connection.
