Riding for the Disabled Australia RDA SA

RDA helps give people with a disability a chance to enjoy safe, healthy, horse riding in Australia. It relies on volunteers to deliver services to people living with a disability in your state. You could help with grooming, saddling, and walking the horses or ponies. Or you can help with mucking out, manning the arena gate, untacking, and brushing down. If you prefer not to work hands-on with the horses, you can help to maintain the sensory garden. Or you can work on maintenance and office tasks. Volunteering for retirees is a great way to stay active and involved in your community. You will also be sharing your skills and knowledge from a lifetime of experience and meeting people. If you would like to help and make a difference in people's lives, contact your local office to find out what volunteer roles are available. There are RDA centres right across your state in both city and rural areas.
