The Ringwood Caledonian Society keeps the traditions and heritage of Scotland alive. Join in celebrations for national Scottish dates such as Saint Andrew's Day and Robert Burns' Birthday. You can enjoy regular suppers and socials, or even learn Scottish dancing to keep you active and fit. Scottish country dancing is all about socialising. Dances are performed in sets of 6-8 people to lively fiddle, accordion, and piano tunes. Once you learn a few basic steps you'll be able to do hundreds of dances. No Scottish background is necessary, and dancers of all ages are welcome. It's a great way to stay connected to other Scots in the area and socialise.
