Sacred Heart Mission

Sacred Heart Mission provides support to disadvantaged people in our community. If you have some spare time and would like to give back and lend a hand, try volunteering for the mission. There are plenty of opportunities for volunteer work in Melbourne each week, with most shifts being during the day. You could help with the meals program, teach tai chi, work in the op shop, and much more. Or if you like older people and enjoy a chat, you could join the large team of community visitors. You'll regularly visit residents of aged care homes who may feel lonely or isolated, to brighten their day with friendship. Volunteering is a great way to connect with like-minded people, share your skills, and help to improve the quality of life for all involved. You'll be joining a passionate, friendly team, and can make friends and have fun while you work.
