Save a Dog Scheme

If you love animals and have some spare time, volunteer to help at Save a Dog Scheme. It's a wonderful way to help homeless animals and work with a team of passionate people. There is always so much to do so you will keep busy, and you'll stay active. Volunteers care for cats and dogs, and you'll help staff to keep the animal enclosures clean, the animals fed and watered and, most importantly, provide the animals with enrichment and socialisation. You can help with the laundry washing, drying, and folding clean towels and blankets. Or you can work in fundraising, grooming, admin, gardening and maintenance. You just need to commit to a regular shift each week or fortnight. It's a wonderful way to give back to your community and meet like-minded people.
