Save the Children TAS

Save the Children is a charity that supports vulnerable kids in Australia and overseas through programs that keep them healthy, in school, and protected from abuse. There are op shops right across each state and all profits from the shops go towards the cause. Consider volunteering if you want to help the community and get involved. Volunteers range from 18 to 98 years old and come from all different backgrounds. If you like chatting with people, you can work as an op shop retail assistant in stores in all states (except ACT). You may want to work as a window dresser or sorting stock in the back room. Or if you prefer to work behind the scenes, you can work in the warehouse or as a gardener. It’s fun, rewarding work and you’ll meet plenty of people along the way. You’ll be making a positive difference in children’s lives and working with an amazing team of like-minded volunteers.
