Seeing Eye Dogs Vision Australia

Vision Australia works with special working dogs that will one day become the gift of independence for people who are blind or have low vision. If you have some spare time and love dogs, consider volunteering. Some of the volunteering opportunities at Seeing Eye Dogs may include kennel support. You would help with bathing, grooming, free walking, swimming, socialising dogs, and cleaning kennels. Or work as a maintenance volunteer and look after cleaning, tidying, mowing lawns, and detailing cars. If you prefer, you could become a puppy carer. You would care for a puppy in your home from eight weeks until they are about 12-15 months old. Your time and passion would help support people who need a seeing-eye dog to live richer lives. You will feel an immense sense of reward and meet many like-minded people along the way. You’ll stay active and involved and you’ll be giving back to the community. Visit the website provided to find out more about what is involved in volunteering.
