Join Silver Wings for a wide range of social activities throughout the year. There are barbeques, bingo every fifth Wednesday, and an annual quiz day. There are outings such as a Seniors’ Day Outing in November which is a really enjoyable day. You can also join in other activities like regular craft meetings where you can bring along crafts, knitting, crochet, and mending. If you want to keep active, you can play carpet bowls which is a competitive game that’s a lot of fun. Many of the activities include refreshments or morning tea. It's a great way to have a social chat and meet other older people in the area.
