Still Standing Doonside

The Still Standing program is a high quality light exercise program for people aged 65+ or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged 50 and over. It is free for residents in the Blacktown LGA. It will help you to reduce your risk of falling and maintain your independence. You'll do exercises to build leg strength, safely in a seated position. You'll do balance exercises to improve balance (chairs and supports are provided to reduce risk of falling). Join the program on Thursdays from 9.15am at the Doonside Senior Citizens Club. You need to register for the class online via the website provided. As programs and details can change, check with the provider.
