Story Dogs NSW

Story Dogs NSW
Story Dogs is a reading support program that uses dogs to improve the literacy skills of children. The idea is that children and young adolescents read to dogs, normally in a quiet area of the school grounds. If you have a dog and want to get involved, consider volunteering yourself and your dog for the program. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community and improve the life of a child. You’ll feel immensely rewarded, share your life skills, and meet plenty of different people. There are Story Dog teams right across each state and the ACT, so contact your local branch to find out how you can get involved.
