Subiaco Library

Subiaco Library
Subiaco Library runs a range of activities for older people. Try the Yarn Club, it’s a place for a knit, natter, and crochet with like-minded people. The Yarn Club meets at the Nook in the library and no bookings are needed. If you have ever wanted to be part of a book club, the library offers three book club sessions that meet every six weeks on a Tuesday and a Sunday. To learn more about technology, you can join the Digication sessions. They are free public digital education sessions. Bring your IT problem or suggest a topic you would like information on and learn from tutors in a small group or one-on-one setting. To have some social fun, you can join the Your Move Board Games Club. Play a friendly game of chess, scrabble, or backgammon with other locals. All ages and levels are welcome. You can also visit the monthly seniors’ hub to learn how to stay connected and keep active. Group sessions are at 2pm on the last Thursday of the month at the Subiaco Library or by appointment.
