Sunshine Coast Animal Rescue (SCARS)

If you love animals, have some spare time, and would like to help change the lives of shelter animals, volunteer at SCARS. You’ll help provide love, care, and hope to the hundreds of cats and dogs that pass through the refuge each year. There are different volunteer roles at shelters and the roles change as needed. As a shelter volunteer, you can help to raise vital funds for vet care, shelter care, or you could offer a particular skill you may have. You could bake some treats, help out at a barbeque, sell tickets, or man stalls. Or you could help on adoption days, transport animals, work in admin, or foster animals. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community, stay active and busy, and make new friends.
