The Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre is an inclusive, supportive, and caring space for everyone. There is a range of courses and activities, childcare, and a community cafe. If you live nearby and have some spare time to give, you could volunteer at the centre. It’s a great way to give back to the community and help people in your area. Volunteers run the community café every Friday morning, cooking and serving free and low-cost menu items to people who need them. Or you can help with the playgroup, office admin, maybe using your skills for a course or as a board member. You’ll be making a difference in people’s lives and will make new friends in your area.
