Sydney Community Services offers daily programs of engaging, stimulating activities for older people. It's a great opportunity to socialise and make friends. You can go on day trips and get involved in a variety of activities. You can play social bridge, solo, rummikub, and scrabble. Or try a game of mah-jong, an ancient tile game, with beautiful Chinese characters and symbols. The games are suitable for players of all standards and beginners are welcome. If you like to meet people and chat, there are social morning teas. For those who love books, there's the sociable book group to discuss a ‘book of the month’ ranging from classics to modern literature.
