The Living Our Best Life project supports older people to build new connections. The project aims to reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation in people aged 60 and over. You can go along to one of the Talking Cafes to meet other older people for a chat. The cafes are a welcoming space offering weekly drop-in sessions. You can socialise, learn about community events, and engage. These one-hour gatherings are open to everyone and welcome newcomers at any time. You can also get help and advice from one of the program's volunteer Community Connectors. They will help you discover social groups, activities, and services in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It's a way to rediscover your purpose and find enjoyment in life. Join the group on Wednesdays from 2pm to 3pm.
