Join this LGBTQIA+ club for a hit of tennis and a chance to meet like-minded people. Playing tennis is a great activity for older people to keep fit and strong. The club welcomes players of all skill levels and will match you up with players of similar abilities. Doubles playing is the main format, but singles games are often available later in the session. Play with the group on Monday evenings from 7pm to 10pm or on Saturdays from 10.30am to 1.30pm at Queensland Tennis Centre. Or you can play on Wednesday from 7pm to 10pm at Griffith University in Mount Gravatt. Just bring your racquet, a drink, and a smile – they’ll take care of the rest. You can also go along to some of their regular socials. It’s a great way to stay active and make new friends. All communications are via the private Facebook group so request to join to find out more.
