Belconnen Men’s Shed is a safe space for men to gather to work on projects and have a yarn. The shed has 75 to 80 members, and welcomes all ages, both First Nations and non-Indigenous. You can enjoy wood and metalworking, plastics, cnc milling, leatherwork, and more. The leather work is on most Thursdays 10.30am to 12pm and includes sewing, rope, and knot skills. Electronics is on Thursday at 1pm to 3pm. Or you can join social cards and games most Tuesdays 1pm to 3pm. It’s not just about the tools, you can simply go along for a chat or coffee/tea.
