The Centre Neighbourhood House Volunteering

If you have some spare time and would like to get more involved in your local community, volunteer at your Neighbourhood House. You can volunteer in a wide range of roles to enjoy giving back to your community and helping people to learn and grow. You can work as homework tutors, bus drivers, cooks, on-the-ground staff, gardeners, and performers and artists at community events. Or you may work as local community newspaper team members, administration and at reception, teaching a class or skill, and more. There will be a role to suit you even if you only have a small amount of time to give. It’s a wonderful way to keep active and busy, learn and share skills, and meet people in your area. You’ll feel a sense of reward and make a positive impact on people around you. Each centre has different volunteer roles and needs, so get in touch with your local house or centre.
