Go along to the Fairfield Community Nursery on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings to join other volunteers in the garden. You can get involved in a wide range of nursery, environmental, and gardening activities. All ages and abilities are welcome. You’ll learn important skills and connect to your local community. You can help with many different nursery activities like seed collecting, seed sowing, and growing and caring for native plants. You can also help with potting up, weeding, and categorising plants in different trays. You will also learn about growing, caring for, and preparing a vegetable community garden. Spend time with like-minded people, feel proud of what you do, and get to know your community better. Drop into the garden to find out more.
