The National Association for Loss & Grief (NALAG) is always looking for generous people to help run the organisation and its events. You could volunteer some time to be a Grief Support Volunteer. You can help to provide face-to-face support to people who are grieving. Or you can help with telephone grief support to provide a listening ear. Other volunteer options include assisting with administration tasks and helping promote special events. You will be trained, supervised, and supported. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and gain new skills. You can give as little or as much time as you can manage. You can also join their regular social outings and awareness sessions for volunteers to meet one another.
