Theo Notaras Multicultural centre is for Canberrans to meet, celebrate, and share cultures. The centre has several community organisations that offer advice and assistance. You can get access to support services and help with English. The centre hosts many of the Canberra region’s multicultural events and forums. Friday prayer (Islamic) is held every Friday between 12 noon and 2pm and the Canberra Multicultural Seniors Network (SmiLe) meets there on the first Saturday of the month. It’s a great place to meet people from all cultures. Join the groups to find out what multicultural events and celebrations are happening in the region.
