Tolga Bat Hospital

Tolga Bat Hospital
If you are interested in native wildlife and care about the welfare of bats in your area, volunteer at the Tolga Bat Hospital. You’ll be making a direct positive impact on the lives of injured, sick, or orphaned bats. As a volunteer, you can work in a wide variety of roles. You’ll help prepare large amounts of food for the adults and orphans, feed/clean/weigh/measure the orphans, clean cages, and wash large amounts of laundry. You can also join in trips to the rainforest to search or release (depending on the season) and help with loading fruit, making banana smoothies, or helping with visitor tours. It’s a wonderful way to get involved in something you feel strongly about and it’s very rewarding work. You’ll keep connected, active and busy, and meet many like-minded people.
