If you like enriching people's lives, volunteer at an aged care centre. You'll be making a real difference to the lives of older residents and the staff. Whether a few hours a week or two hours a fortnight, just lending an ear or sharing a cup of tea can greatly enhance residents’ happiness. You can sit and chat with residents and offer comfort and social engagement through word games, arts, and crafts. Twilight welcomes volunteers from all ages and walks of life. You can volunteer at one of the four aged care facilities at Gladesville, Mosman, Gordon, or Hunters Hill. It's a wonderful way for you to keep active and connected with the community. You can share your life skills, and stories, and make friends.
